MeeBible Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which MeeBible mobile application (“Application”) and meebible.org website (“Site”) collect, use and maintain information collected from users (each, a “User”).

We can collect information you enter on this Site or fill in Feedback form in MeeBible application and also some technical info about your phone or computer.
We use this information solely to improve MeeBible.
We can use your email address to answer to your inquiries. In very extreme cases we can send you unsolicited emails.
We will never share or sell your personal information.
We can share some generic aggregated information, not linked to any personal identity.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal information from Users when they fill out the Feedback form in Application, fill out forms on the Site, send us feedback using Ovi Store feedback facility or when they send emails directly to us.

Users may be asked for, as appropriate, their name, email address and some comments about Application and the Site.

We will collect personal identification information from Users only if the voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities. Application will always provide full service even if User will refuse to supply his personal identification information.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site or Application. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer or mobile phone, selected language and Bible translation, version of Application installed on the mobile phone and other similar technical information.

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

Application and Site may collect and use Users personal information for following purposes:

To respond to Users' inquiries, questions, feedback and/or other requests.
We will respond to User's questions and feedback to their provided email address.
To improve customer service
Information Users provide help us respond to their customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
To send urgent emails about bugs or vulnerabilities found in Application
In exceptional cases we can use emails provided by users to send notifications if some bug of vulnerability was found in Application which may affect User's experience.
To inform Users about significant changes to this Privacy Policy
We will inform Users who provided their email address when we will change this Privacy Policy in a way that is not compatible with our practices of protecting and handling their personal data stated in the previous version of Privacy Policy.

How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collections, storage and processing practicies and security measures to protect agains unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others.

We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors of the Site and users of Application. For example, we may share information about number of Users or distribution of Users by countries and languages. This information will be shared solely for demonstration of interest to our services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We have discretion to update this Privacy Policy when introducing new services or functionality. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page.

If changes to this Privacy Policy will significantly change our practices of protecting and handling Users identification information, we will notify our Users who provided us with their email.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using this Site or filling out Feedback form in the Application, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site and do not fill out Feedback form in the Application. Your continued use of the Site or filling out Feedback form in the Application following the posting of changes to this privacy policy will be deemed as your acceptance of those changes.
